At the UGA Chemistry Alumni & Awards Banquet, Audrey won both the L.B. “Buck” Rogers Award for the undergraduate student that performs the most outstanding research in Chemistry over the last year and the Outstanding Undergraduate Student of the Year from Northeast Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society, while Chris won the G. E. Philbrook Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching from the Northeast Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society!

Skyler hosted a local high school sophomore student, Copper, and his teacher, Mr. Pulliam, for a morning workshop designed to help prepare Copper for his upcoming Governor’s Honors Program interview. This included a tour of our lab, a research presentation, a mock interview, and several experimental demonstrations. Best of luck, Copper!
